Dressings, entrees, snacks, sides and desserts - herbs can play a part in every meal you eat and the fresher the better, though don't not use them just because you may have to settle for dried. Whether you grow them in pots on the kitchen window sill, in hanging baskets and pots outdoors or if you have a full kitchen garden in the ground, growing herbs is easy and enjoyable, not to mention the fragrances wafting through the kitchen air are tantalizing.
